    This policy applies to all subscriptions purchased directly through our website. If you purchased a subscription through a third-party platform (e.g., app store), different refund policies may apply as governed by that platform's terms.

    2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

    We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. This guarantee applies to your first subscription purchase with CreatingCareers, regardless of whether you choose a monthly or yearly billing plan.

    Eligibility:

    • The refund request must be made within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase date
    • This guarantee applies only to your first subscription purchase, not to renewals or upgrades
    • You must contact us directly at support@creatingcareers.net to request a refund
    • The refund request must include your account email address and subscription details

    Important: Usage-Based Restrictions

    To prevent abuse and ensure fair use of our refund guarantee, refunds may not be available if you have significantly utilized premium features or resources. Specifically, refund requests will be denied or may be subject to review if:

    • You have used more than 50% of your plan's monthly limits for AI features (AI Chat messages, AI Insights, Skill Analyses, Offer Generations, Logo Generations)
    • You have created one or more landing pages using our landing page builder
    • You have exported more than 10 templates to PDF or DOCX formats
    • You have downloaded more than 25 premium templates during the refund period
    • You have generated more than 25 AI-generated avatars or template images
    • You have utilized advanced features such as custom domain setup, white-label options, or API access (Growth plan)
    • You have scheduled or completed 1-on-1 strategy sessions (Growth plan)
    • Evidence of systematic abuse, such as creating excessive content solely for export or distribution

    These restrictions are in place to prevent users from consuming substantial platform resources and then requesting refunds. We reserve the right to review account usage patterns and deny refund requests that indicate abuse or excessive resource consumption.

    Example: If you have a Pro plan and have used 60+ AI Chat messages (out of 100/month), created 8+ monetization plans (out of 15), or generated 15+ offers (out of 20), your refund request will likely be denied as you have substantially utilized the service.

    Refund Process:

    • Contact our support team at support@creatingcareers.net with your refund request
    • We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days
    • Once approved, refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
    • Upon refund, your subscription will be cancelled immediately, and you will lose access to paid features

    3. Refunds After the Initial 30-Day Period

    After the initial 30-day period, or for subscription renewals, refunds are generally not available. However, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

    Eligible Circumstances:

    • Service Issues: If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using the service, and we are unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe. Note: Accounts that have already substantially used the service are not eligible under this exception
    • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to an error on our part
    • Unauthorized Charges: If your payment method was used without your authorization
    • Legal Requirements: As required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction

    To request a refund after the initial 30-day period, please contact us at support@creatingcareers.net with a detailed explanation of your circumstances. We will review each request individually and respond within 5-7 business days.

    Important: Even for eligible circumstances, accounts that have consumed significant resources (as outlined in Section 2) may be denied refunds or offered pro-rated refunds based on remaining unused value.

    4. Non-Refundable Items and Services

    The following are not eligible for refunds:

    • Subscription renewals after the initial 30-day guarantee period
    • Unused portions of subscription periods (partial refunds are not available)
    • Downgrades or plan changes (billing adjustments are made according to our Terms of Service)
    • Free plan features (as these are already provided at no cost)
    • Third-party services or integrations that may be used with our platform
    • Accounts that have created any landing pages using our landing page builder
    • Accounts that have utilized custom domain features or white-label options
    • Accounts with evidence of resource abuse or systematic content extraction
    • Accounts that have scheduled or consumed 1-on-1 strategy sessions (Growth plan)

    High-Value Feature Exclusions:

    The following features, due to their high resource cost or one-time nature, automatically exclude accounts from refund eligibility if used:

    • Landing Page Creation: If you have created even one landing page, refunds are not available as landing pages require significant infrastructure and processing resources
    • Custom Domain Setup: Accounts with custom domains configured are ineligible for refunds
    • White-Label Features: Growth plan users who have activated white-label features
    • API Access Usage: Growth plan users who have generated or used API keys
    • 1-on-1 Sessions: Growth plan users who have scheduled or completed strategy sessions (these represent direct human time investment)

    5. Usage Review and Abuse Prevention

    When you request a refund, we will review your account's usage history to determine eligibility. This review includes:

    • Percentage of plan limits utilized (AI features, content creation, downloads)
    • Landing pages created and deployed
    • Templates exported or downloaded
    • Time spent actively using premium features
    • Patterns indicating systematic resource extraction or abuse
    • Compliance with our Terms of Service and Fair Usage Policy

    What We Consider Abuse:

    • Creating multiple accounts to bypass usage limits
    • Systematically exporting or downloading large volumes of content in a short period
    • Using the service primarily to extract templates, content, or resources for distribution
    • Creating landing pages solely to export or replicate them elsewhere
    • Any pattern suggesting the subscription was purchased with intent to extract value and request refund

    Our Commitment: We implement these protections to ensure fair access to resources for all users. Legitimate users who try our service and find it's not a fit will receive full refunds, provided they haven't substantially consumed platform resources.

    6. Cancellation vs. Refund

    It's important to understand the difference between cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund:

    Cancellation:

    • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
    • Cancellation prevents future charges but does not provide a refund for the current billing period
    • You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
    • After cancellation, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan when the paid period ends

    Refund Request:

    • Refund requests must be made directly to our support team
    • If approved, you will receive a refund and immediately lose access to paid features
    • Refunds are only available within the 30-day guarantee period or under special circumstances (see Section 3)

    7. Processing Time and Method

    Once a refund is approved:

    • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days of approval
    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
    • The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider (typically 5-10 business days for credit cards)
    • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

    Note: If the original payment method is no longer available (e.g., cancelled credit card), please contact us immediately. We may need to process the refund through an alternative method.

    8. Chargebacks

    If you are not satisfied with our service, we encourage you to contact us directly at support@creatingcareers.net before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks can result in additional fees and complications for both parties.

    We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we may suspend your account during the dispute resolution process.

    We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our platform.
